.Within IT Flat Europe organization, the Digital & IT Supply chain department is responsible for the IT Strategy of the Supply Chain function, including efficiency (process and system exploitation and optimization).We are a transversal IT organization operating at Flat Europe level.
Our department is focused on bringing uniform IT applications to all clusters, with cutting edge technology and innovative solutions.
In this position, the candidate will be part of our central European D&IT Supply Chain team in Technology team and in direct contact with development teams (offshore and onshore), functional architects, and product owners.The Applicative Database Administrator plays a critical role in designing the new integration of DB services using Cloud (Azure), identifying solutions, maintaining them (proactive performances), and providing user support.ResponsibilitiesDesign the database services on cloud (Azure) or hosted services (PaaS, IaaS)Design database services of high availability and quality depending on requirementsAdministrate and act as an expert for MSSQL servers and Oracle (less used in the landscape)Use high-speed transaction recovery techniques and backup dataTake into account the security policiesBe part of task forces to fix performance issuesBe proactive regarding performance, service-orientedEnforce and document database policies, procedures, and standardsEnsure that the platform is reliable and performant through testing, automation, and monitoringCollaborate with other technical teamsWith platforms teams (containers, software packages)With architects and developers for optimizing their experienceAct and contribute in an Agile wayProfileEducation: Master's degree in IT or a related technical field.Experience: Experience in a similar position would be an asset.Application Development: Previous experience in application development is a clear advantage.You demonstrate most of these key competencies:You are proactive, innovative, curious, and bold.
