Applications Engineer (M/F/D)

As an engineering team member, your responsibilities will include piloting new applications and assisting with startups of new filtration systems in international projects. You will lead pilot tests and gather essential data for full-scale project design. Collaborating with specialists in the Netherlands and Spain, you'll support the Sales Engineering team in preparing detailed technical and commercial quotations for our international customers. You will report directly to the Knowledge Center Manager of Berghof Membranes and will be based in our office in San Sebastian (Spain). What we offer A motivated and supportive team in a positive work environment encouraging open and honest communication An internationally diverse and dynamic environment that encourages "outside the box" thinking, promoting project ownership, and giving employees the freedom to make decisions related to their work Company-wide support for continuous professional and personal development Competitive compensation package Your main responsibilities Define the goals and steps of pilot tests in detail with our customers to achieve the desired targets Assist our customers with the startup and commissioning of ultrafiltration plants Guide our customers through the entire process and ensure all relevant data is acquired Analyze the results of pilot tests and convert the data into relevant information for the design of full-scale projects Your secondary responsibilities Assist our sales engineering team in defining quotations and discussing process-related documentation during the quotation phase, such as P&IDs and PFDs Act as a liaison between international Sales Managers and the Technology department What we expect from you Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Water Technology, or a similar field Five years of experience in similar functions Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Dutch and German are a plus) Proactive team player comfortable balancing commercial and technological arguments Problem-solving attitude to overcome challenges on the fly Interested?
