With our innovative proprietary technology processes, we thrive on re-imagining and re-defining the possibilities of high-performance power solutions in industrial applications, telecom infrastructures, cloud computing, automotive, and consumer applications.Who we want:MPS is seeking a highly self-motivated engineer with strong knowledge in PMSM motor mechatronics. This person will work in supporting the introduction of MPS motor solutions to our potential customers, providing expertise knowledge and developing prototypes for specific applications. The engineer will collaborate with the design team and customers to propose novel solutions to expand the current MPS portfolio.Essential Functions:Evaluate existing MPS solutions with different market's AC-DC voltage applications.Simulate and test AC-DC circuits and converters.Design evaluation boards with the Technician team to deliver a fully testable solution to MPS's clients.Validate, test, and document new products to be able to release the product.Support marketing and sales on the development of Proof-of-concept and EVB to showcase our solutions to new customers.Write technical articles, datasheets, and application notes to support clients and MPS's sales team.Support customers around Europe and the US to introduce MPS solutions.Qualifications:BS in a related engineering field (MS preferred).Solid understanding and experience in power electronics and analog design.Experience in modeling and control of power converters.Oral/written proficiency in English.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Location: Barcelona, SpainMonolithic Power Systems, Inc.
