The Application Specialist's tasks and responsibilities are aligned to the Anton Paar standard procedures. Dependent on how/if the job tasks are split, they include, but are not limited to Second level technical support.
Answering technical customer requirements on the phone and email.
Conducting application measurement and offer application support to customers.
Supporting the whole sales & post sales process.
Taking part at seminars and exhibitions.
Customer demonstrations and customer trainings for the assigned product lines.
Responsible for the presentation lab, especially for the assigned product lines.
Maintaining and supervising the demo database for the assigned region incl. inventory for the demo stock (entering of instruments into the database, creation of loans, shipment, checking, scrapping).
Conducting installations on customer site and providing the necessary customer training.
Performing pharma qualifications on customer site.
Answering the phone and forwarding information to Sales/Service
Substituting each other within in the country or within the region
Contacting General Manager in case of any problems/challenges etc.
Education in Chemistry, Material science, Physics, Chemical Engineering or another related discipline. PhD would be highly considered.Experience in technical sales of analytical instruments valuedGood practical skills in measurement equipmentStrong analytical and problem solving skills and math skills.Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish and must be capable of communicating and presenting equally well across company lines/customersWillingness to travel within the region as well as overseasAnton Paar offers you a unique and rewarding position within an innovative and growing company.
