We are looking for an Application Scientist to join our team. The Application Scientist will provide technical assistance to internal and external customers through excipient formulation, custom blending, prototyping, and troubleshooting small scale and commercial trial batches.
What you'll do: Lead technical discussions with customers and account managers. Recommend optimal product selection based on customers' desired target markets and associated regulatory requirements.Responsible for technical (R&D) excipient support activities on customer projects. Test colors, cosmetic ingredients, and color technology to determine suitable solutions for customer applications.Coordinate communications between the customer and Sensient's Regulatory Department.Travel to customers' research and manufacturing sites to promote and support the use of Sensient products.Experience in developing cosmetic prototypes such as color cosmetics, toiletries, sun care, skin care, hair color, and care products.Desirable to have some knowledge or experience in home care products as well.What you'll bring: Bachelor's degree in general science or cosmetics science or equivalent education.
