We are a global leader in the development and manufacturing of high-pressure pumps and energy recovery devices, and we are looking for an Application Marketing Manager to promote our solutions and support customers in their applications.
Our technologies combine energy efficiency, reliability, and sustainability, making us a benchmark in desalination, industrial processes, and other strategic applications.
The role involves managing the application strategy, including price, distribution, product, and promotion, as well as planning the market focus for sales.
You will be responsible for the value proposition, strategic pricing, and shaping the product portfolio today and tomorrow for each application.
You will contribute to the innovation project portfolio, drive market intelligence, and develop relationships with key players in the industry and value chain.
Job Responsibilities: Manage and update the application strategy, including the new product portfolio and innovation pipeline.Identify and promote innovation requirements to strengthen HPP's competitive advantages and increase its relevance to customers.Maintain and optimize the value proposition for applications, including price setting and contract analysis.Create and implement effective value propositions for decision-makers, sharing insights into the value drivers for customers.Monitor emerging application technologies, representing Danfoss HPP in industry associations and engaging with customers and influencers.Be responsible for the launch of new products, ensuring their successful market introduction.Provide application expertise, with a particular focus on the role of high-pressure pumps in specific applications.Manage and share market intelligence, contributing to marketing activities related to applications. Background & Skills: Degree in mechanical engineering or commercial discipline - The presence of courses related to desalination or water treatment is a plus.+5 years of previous experience in similar roles, gained in moderately structured companies, with a solid understanding of application strategy management.Direct experience in managing product portfolios and/or application solutions in the industrial sector, with particular attention to high-pressure technologies or related sectors.Knowledge of market dynamics and key technological trends, with a focus on energy-efficient and sustainable solutions.Experience in defining value propositions and managing relationships with OEMs and End Users.Ability to manage new product launches and monitor the evolution of emerging applications.Excellent knowledge of English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
