- You may create or have responsibility to improve existing test tools.
- You are able to take a defined design and turn it into code and deliver it on schedule, applying appropriate technologies and current software engineering best practices.
- You write secure, stable, testable, maintainable code with minimal defects.

- You are familiar with device connectivity elements like WiFi, Bluetooth, and Zigbee.

- You have a basic understanding of operating system administration.
- You write and review accurate and complete support procedures, system documentation, and issue tracking entries.
- You show good judgment and instincts in decision making.
- Able to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- You continually align your work with Amazon's business objectives and seek to deliver business value.
- You proactively and continually improve your level of knowledge about Amazon's business and relevant technologies.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 2+ years of software development, or 2+ years of technical support experience.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
- Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
- Experience scripting in modern programming languages.
- Experience in Unix.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience with AWS, networks, and operating systems.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
