Current product teams are developing and producing a product portfolio consisting of:Mechanical variable displacement compressorsElectrically driven compressorsHow You Can ContributeWork with customers to edit and sign a technical matrix for the application they need.Run and organize validation programs for AC compressor components.Develop and release with the Global Team the new standards to be applied for specific applications.Develop and author technical validation reports and specifications for internal engineering and external customer documentation.Conduct DFMEA/PFMEA processes to understand and improve validation-related issues, improving design based on test failures prior to mass production.Interpret blueprints and specify Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).Assist with preparation and execution of test units.Analyze test data and organize results relative to internal or customer specifications with observations and conclusions.Apply engineering practices to reach design solutions.Participate in innovation, product cost, and quality improvement initiatives.Be involved in cross-functional teams related to customer program launch activity.Work with suppliers and manufacturing plants to ensure product design for high value and manufacturability.What Skills Do You Need?Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering or higher.5+ years of experience in the development of precision products.Understanding of principles of statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, strengths of materials, thermodynamics, physics (mechanical and electrical), and engineering design.Experience with the full product lifecycle development up to production.Computer skills including Microsoft Office and basic 3D modeling.Good interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills – ability to write effective test reports.Able to manage time and organize effectively across multiple projects.Enjoy working in a hands-on environment.What Does MAHLE Offer You?Attractive salary package
