In this role, you will lead a small group of talented engineers and play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining robust backend systems to support our most innovative cloud-based products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure scalability, reliability, and performance of our systems.What will you do?- Lead a small team of extremely talented backend and frontend engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment and supporting their professional growth.- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, microservices, data pipelines and APIs using Python.- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.- Utilize cloud technologies like AWS to deploy and manage backend services.- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.- Architect and implement serverless architectures for efficient resource utilization and scalability.- Ensure code quality, performance, and security through code reviews, testing, and best practices.- Troubleshoot and debug production issues, providing timely resolutions to ensure system reliability.- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and incorporating relevant tools and practices into the development process.Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.- Proven experience as a Backend Engineer fluent in Python and experience with frameworks such as FastAPI, Django or similar.- Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
