.As the Global Supply Chain Manager, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing strategic initiatives to optimise and manage Optibus' global hardware supply chain operations. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the end-to-end supply chain activities, ensuring efficient and effective coordination across multiple regions and functions. You will lead our global supply chain, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to drive operational excellence, cost reduction, and customer satisfaction. This is a high-impact role that requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of global supply chain management.Responsibilities:1. Strategic Planning and Execution:- Develop and implement the global supply chain strategy aligned with the Company's objectives, ensuring optimal inventory levels, on-time delivery, and cost efficiency.- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and digitalization to enhance supply chain performance and agility.- Drive the execution of strategic initiatives, monitor progress, and adjust plans as needed to meet business goals. This includes ensuring an accelerated path to global distribution of existing products.2. Supply Chain Optimization:- Optimise end-to-end supply chain processes, including demand planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution, to achieve cost savings, minimise lead times, and improve service levels.- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as production, sales, finance, and IT to align supply chain strategies and ensure seamless integration across departments.- Identify and manage supply chain risks, develop contingency plans, and establish robust supplier relationships.3. Supplier Management and Sourcing:- Develop and implement supplier management strategies, including supplier qualification, evaluation, and performance measurement.- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to identify and onboard new suppliers, negotiate contracts, and ensure competitive pricing and quality standards.- Collaborate with suppliers to drive continuous improvement, resolve issues, and promote long-term partnerships.- Co-own the sub contractor network and directly manage the distribution of parts and spares via this network.4. Data Analysis and Performance Monitoring:- Utilise data analytics and reporting tools to monitor supply chain performance, identify trends, and generate actionable insights.- Develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on supply chain efficiency, inventory management, and customer service levels.- Implement systems and processes for real-time visibility of inventory, demand, and supply across the global network.Requirements1.
