En RDT Bilbao, estamos buscando un/a Ingeniero/a Civil para unirse a nuestro equipo especializado en energía eólica.El rol está enfocado en apoyar el desarrollo y la construcción de proyectos de energía eólica onshore en el sur de Europa, específicamente en España, Francia, Italia y Grecia.ROL:The role of Civil Engineer Onshore Wind Southern Europe within SSE Renewables Technical Centre of Excellence.Responsibilities revolve around supporting our Onshore Wind Development and Construction businesses across Spain, France, Italy and Greece by developing and maintaining Civil Engineering Technical Standards and processes.Key responsibilities and attributes are as follows; - Independently undertaking design and the management of third party designers across a portfolio of Onshore Wind Development and Construction projects in Southern Europe.- Supporting and applying knowledge of engineering standards and statutory requirements on Onshore Wind, Solar and BESS projects.ADDITIONAL DATA that will be of interest to you:
- Location Bilbao.
Residence in Vizcaya or surrounding areas is required, or a change of residence if you live outside of Vizcaya.40-hour workweek (8.5 hours from Monday to Thursday and 6 hours on Fridays).
Flexible start time from 7 to 9:00 and a minimum of 30 minutes for lunch.
- Teleworking is allowed 2 days of teleworking and 3 in a technical office in Bilbao.
- Intensive workweek in July and August of 7 hours a day
- Maximum of 10% of trips around Europe (each trip of approximately 2 or 3 days)

We are committed to professional developmentWHAT DO YOU NEED?To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:Minimum of 5 year experience, ideally in renewables or large infrastructure projects.Professional Qualifications with the Asociación De Ingenieros Profesionales De España (AIPE) or international equivalent.Ability to communicate engineering considerations and principles across SSEs onshore wind business.Strong knowledge and experience in Civil Infrastructure.Experience in developing and maintaining Technical Standards.Appreciation of commercial and project management of engineering construction.Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing in Spanish and English.
