This position will be primarily focused on Health and Safety programs.Execute the elements EHSS Management System (including ISO 14001 & 45001) as necessary.Assist with the administration and implementation of EHS policies and programs.Complete program reviews, including periodic revisions and updates to standard operating procedures.Complete tasks related to environmental and sustainability programs including but not limited to: Air, Hazardous and Non-Hazardous Waste (including Universal Waste), Risk Management, Recycling, Emergency Response, Spill Prevention, Stormwater Control, Wastewater etc.Reporting of relevant data for monthly metrics and incidents into the Information Management System Benchmark as appropriate.Ensure compliance with existing EHSS regulations and client requirements; follows emerging EHSS regulations and issues.Maintain solid and hazardous waste programs.Proactively identify potential EHS hazards through risk assessments, Gemba walks, inspections, etc., and drive timely corrective actions.Provide regulatory guidance and administration support on all EHS regulations.Perform EHS&S change assessments for new equipment, processes, or changes to the operation.Perform and/or assist in Industrial Hygiene monitoring.Provide specialized training to client employees.Perform investigation, root cause analysis and complete corrective action plans for safety and environmental incidents.Prepare and/or assist with composing agency corporate and divisional reports.Participate in site Emergency Response Teams for hazardous materials spills and medical response.Participate in the Safety Committee.Accomplish EH&S results by communicating job expectations, initiating, coordinating, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.Assist with workers' compensation program including claims monitoring and administration, report generation, and communication with employees, managers, insurance carriers, medical staff for litigated/non-litigated claims.Climbing.
