The engineer will work in the Development SupportFluids department and contribute to its Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)division, placing focus on the core CFD modelling capabilities of Siemens PLM'sflagship multi-physics simulation product, Simcenter STAR-CCM+.Asa Development Support member, the engineer will verify CFD software predictionsmeet the highest quality standards and help deliver advanced technical softwaresupport services to a global client base.DevelopmentSupport provide high level support that facilitates the transfer of technicalknowledge between the Solution Domains Development organization and the rest ofthe company. Development Support engineers work closely with softwaredevelopers as new versions of Simcenter STAR-CCM+ are developed, to help ensurenew software features are well understood and function as intended.DevelopmentSupport engineers liaise with teams worldwide to provide advanced technicalsolutions such that end user issues are promptly answered or fixed, whilesoftware products are used to their maximum potential.Asa member of the Development Support CFD division, you will be expected tocontribute to constitutive areas related to finite volume flow solvers,turbulence, heat transfer and computational aeroacoustics modelling. To succeedin this role, you must demonstrate advanced knowledge of CFD and experiencewith modeling complex industrial flows typical of such applications asturbomachinery, external aerodynamics, and internal combustion engines. Goodcommunication and organizational skills, ability to prioritize multipleprojects and work efficiently with multi-cultural technical teams are essentialto this role.Responsibilities- Making sure newly implemented Simcenter STAR-CCM+ developments are wellunderstood.
