.Context And MissionReporting to the HR & Labour Relations Coordinator, and working hand by hand with the Mobility & Onboarding Officer, the HR Officer will provide crucial support in managing Personnel Administration tasks and Mobility affairs within the HR Team at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC-CNS).This position involves a balanced focus on Personnel Administration and Mobility tasks, providing essential support to designated departments and group leaders.This position is funded through the GLOBER project: GLOBAL OUTREACH TO BUILD EXCELLENCE IN RESEARCH, supported by the Agencia Estatal de Investigación.Key DutiesHR Administration of Scientific Departments: Assist in handling incorporations, work and fellows contracts, payroll, and end-of-relationship processes; provide support as the HR advisor for Group Leaders within assigned departments; serve as an additional point of contact for HR-related matters in designated departments.Foreign Affairs management: Assist in managing work permits for new staff and their families, support in overseeing renewals of work permits, and assist in monthly reporting of mobility-related activities.General support to HR & Labour Relations Coordinator (From filling to answering questions to the staff)Master/Undergraduate student's coordination (from HR point of view).Provide support in preparing new contracts and explain them to new employees, along with the BSC procedures.Offer support to newcomers with essential aspects upon arrival in Barcelona.HR data management (data intro in the ERP and different reporting systems).HR projects:o Support to the department in the internal HR projectsRequirementsEducation- University Degree (Management Sciences, Labor Relations, Law, or similar).Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience- At least 2 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in a multi-cultural environment.- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (Spanish, Catalan, and English).Additional Knowledge and Professional ExperienceExperience in an international research center will be valued.Solid Microsoft Office skills, especially in Excel.Experience with foreign affairs management.CompetencesPlanning and organizing (Structured mindset).Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.Proactive cooperation (Desire to learn and improve).Service attitude.Flexibility.ConditionsThe position will be located at BSC within the Management DepartmentWe offer a full-time contract (37
