If you are resilient, ambitious, and a team player, ARYZTA could be the place for you to thrive and grow in your career!Location: It will require regular European travel (up to 50-60% of time), with the remaining time working from your home location.Purpose: The purpose of the Bun Bakeries Europe (BBEU) Production Engineering Manager role is to ensure that across BBEU we are prepared from a process, technology, and engineering perspective to support the delivery of mid and long-term business objectives. This role will enable efficient product and process transition from NPD to production and its further enhancements.Reporting to the BBEU Operations Director, the BBEU Production Engineering Manager will be responsible for developing and delivering a Production Engineering Road Map, from current state to future state with world-class KPI's and processes for Bun Bakeries Europe. They will also develop and implement key production and engineering process standards: (Standard Work, One-Point-Lessons, Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen mindset) and metrics (Production and Process KPI's like OEE, SPC setup, Cpk, Ppk) to meet mid and long-term business objectives.Pay: Competitive based on experienceHours of Work: 40 hours per weekThe ideal applicant will:Have a thorough and detailed understanding of Bakery operations and food manufacturing requirements like continuous processes, vision systems, MES, Industry 4.0, and alike.Have the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales, multiple projects and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality.Be able to demonstrate continuous personnel development and possess the willingness to learn, improve and adapt, with a depth of emotional intelligence.Possess relevant IT skills in basic MS Office applications - outlook, excel & word in particular and a working knowledge of business ERP/MES/PM systems, Auto CAD.Have strong leadership skills, team building, coaching, conflict resolution, independent thinking, planning abilities, and integrity.Have excellent analytical, finance, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.Have evidence of previous experience in change management, lean process management, engineering area management
