.ABOUT THE JOBPromote and foster excellent working relationships with suppliers and internal customers by dealing with queries in a prompt, efficient and professional manner.This includes, but is not limited to explaining how costs are being calculated in line with the contract as well as explaining payments terms.Building exceptional working relationships with all key stakeholders .Work with our offshore partners to investigate and clear invoices in error and identify any hoteliers not complying with company invoicing policies.Review and approve manual booking changes (both pre- and post-departure changes) to ensure data is accurate and payments are made correctly.Process receivables towards customers for post-departure changes and work collaboratively with the Cash Desk TeamComplete supplier statement reconciliation to ensure that invoices are received, that discrepancies are clarified, that payments are allocated correctly and that recoveries have been recognised by the supplier.Request supplier master data creations or changes, where required; make sure that invoicesare assigned to a supplier, where this assignment is missingMaintain the (Central Region) service codes tablePerform any housekeeping exercises relevant for AP Destination Settlement, e.G. set / release payment blocks, clear old itemsThere will be a need to support other AP Payment Coordinators both onshore and offshore and share knowledge to enable the team to become multi-skilled to be able to cover all areas when required.Support with monthly reporting on bad debt and aged creditors, investigating and attending calls as neededProcess improvement and compliance by liaising with internal departments and individuals.Work closely with WNS, other payment coordinators and purchasing teams in an international context to identify and resolve emerging issues relating to invoice processing before they have a supplier impact.ABOUT YOUA good Accounts Payable backgroundStrong influencing skillsYou will be required to have an excellent telephone manner along with excellent written and oral skills.You must have strong interpersonal skills including persuasiveness and / or assertiveness skills with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.You will be required to work to tight deadlines and show excellent communication skills.We also require a candidate with good commercial awareness.A sound knowledge of working with SAP would be an advantage.Fluent English language skills are requiredABOUT OUR OFFERWorking in the leading global tourism group : We stand for intercultural cooperation and offer the opportunity to work in international projects and teams.Mobile working, flexible working hours and working from abroad : We believe that work is something you do, not where you go.Development and career opportunities : We promote the potential of our employees with a wide range of digital training opportunities and international career opportunities
