Join our global team to grow your expertise and develop innovative solutions that enable a prosperous and more sustainable society.Sulzer is looking for an AP Controls Manager to strengthen our Finance and Accounting shared services team in Madrid.Your main tasks and responsibilities:Ensures that AP KPI's are monitored, reaching the Group Targets. Actions proposal, internal and for countries.Organize/prioritize and coordinate the AP functions regarding invoice processing, workflows resolution, auditing, ensuring accurate and timely payment processing.Drive process standardization and reduce inefficiencies, whilst ensuring the delivery of project roadmap.Business partnership in collaboration with countries and ensure priorities alignments, local & SSC speaking the same language & convert our expertise into insights.Review and comment on AP aging.Review AP Key Controls.Ensure strong segregation of duties and reduce risks of fraud.Maintain a thorough understanding of Sulzer's processes and procedures.Ensures all month end reporting and processes are completed accurately and timely.Ensures proper maintenance, filing, and storage of records in case of audits.Risks/issues anticipation/escalation to P2P GPO and Local Finance Heads.To succeed in this role, you will need:Robust knowledge and experience working in Accounts Payable.Strong communication and interpersonal skills inclusive of the ability to work as a member of a team.Strong problem solving and organizational skills.Strong Continuous improvement/automation mindset.Attention to detail along with excellent time management skills.Creative ideas that bring an entrepreneurial mindset to our team.Ability and passion to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced and ever-changing work environment while multi-tasking.Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or a related field.6-8 years of accounts payable experience required.What we offer you:A competitive salary as well as participation in the variable remuneration system based on personal and financial objectives.Restaurant tickets.Permanent contract.Accident insurance.No visa or work permit support can be provided for this role.Sulzer is an equal opportunity employer.
