The main goal is to develop squash varieties for many different market segments worldwide in close contact with the market specialists that are present in different parts of the world. As Breeder Squash you will be working on new traits, innovation concepts, disease resistances and fruit quality traits. In addition, you are involved in:Coordination of crop related processes: seed logistic, crossing, MAS, phenotyping and other administrative tasks.Improving processes.Implementing last technology developments of the company.Designing and evaluating variety trials around the world in our stations and with clients.Taking part in strategical discussions about the breeding program.What is your added value?You are a real team player. You are proactive, creative, flexible and solution oriented. You like to take initiative. You have an eye for detail and are practical and pragmatic. You work in a structured manner and have excellent communication, organizational and administrative skills. Mastering the English language is a prerequisite.
