About our partner On behalf of our partner, Smurfit Westrock , we are looking for the best talent to join Rindus. Smurfit Westrock is an FTSE 100 company and one of the world's leading providers of paper-based packaging, with operations in 40 countries and 500+ packaging converting plants. With the company's headquarters in the Netherlands, you will work in a distributed new team from our office in Málaga.
What you'll be doing To continue developing Smurfit Westrock's internal business application (which manages sales, billing, logistics, shipping processes, etc.), we are looking for an Angular Frontend Architect to define and work on the application's architecture and to guide our development team in the best software development practices. You will lead and oversee the front-end architecture of our web application, be responsible for creating and communicating the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the front-end development, as well as collaborate with stakeholders, product owner, developers, and designer to ensure that the front-end meets the business and user requirements.
Some of the responsibilities are:
Contribute to defining the technical strategy for the front-end development team.
Create and define the frontend architecture for Smurfit Westrock's applications.
Conduct proof-of-concept tests for new technologies/libraries/tools to be implemented.
Participate in meetings with the product owner to translate business requirements for the development team.
Ensure adherence to best practices in the code developed by the team.
Engage in pair programming regularly among team members to provide guidance and support.
Participating in decisions about the graphical interface of the applications would be nice to have.
What you'll bring You have 5+ years of experience as a Senior Frontend Angular Developer.
Extensive knowledge and experience in software architecture design/types.
Experience developing high-quality and maintainable software, leveraging best practices such as clean code, pair programming, SOLID principles, etc.
Experience in Angular libraries like RxJS and NgRx is a must-have.
Knowledge and experience in Apollo and Websockets.
Work with best practices that include robust unit testing coverage.
Bachelor's degree in computer sciences or any other relevant field.
Native or Advanced level of English and Spanish.
You're excited about starting a new project, guiding the development team in best practices, providing support, and being the go-to person for front-end development.
Preferably with experience in agile methodologies and the Scrum framework, which is nice to have.
What we offer Being part of a dynamic and highly motivated international multicultural team of skilled professionals.
Expected salary range 50.000 - 58.000 EUR gross per year, depending on knowledge and experience.
Flexible working model: Hybrid. The team comes to the office twice a week.
