ResponsibilitiesDeveloping Apps for use with active implantable medical devices.Keep a close eye on technological developments, focusing on quality.Assess technical feasibility and contribute to technical concepts.Set up a demo environment for internal teams.Use Agile and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) principles to maximize quality, performance, and effectiveness.Perform functional analysis and create system designs that meet requirements.Develop automated and manual tests to characterize and verify sub-systems.Apply applicable standards and guidelines (e.g., ISO62304, ISO60601, ISO14971).Ensure traceability between requirements, test cases, verification, and reports.Perform system integration, verification, and validation.Maintain traceability between requirements and test records/reports.Contribute to configuration management.Contribute to technical reviews, design reviews, and milestone reviews.Follow change request processes.Your ProfileRelevant app development experience of at least 5 years, preferably in active (implantable) medical devices or another highly regulated environment (e.g., defense, aeronautics, automotive).Strong engineering background, e.g., computer science.Familiar with scrum and agile methodology and tools (e.g., Jira).Familiar with Bluetooth communication protocols.Familiar with software build and test infrastructures (e.g., Jenkins, GIT, Cucumber).Understand Android Clean Architecture and be able to see the big picture.Clear vision of how an Android application should be built and why.Experience with iOS development is a big plus.Highly skilled with developing in Kotlin and experienced in relevant frameworks like Coroutines.Able to build UI using Jetpack Compose.Able to build a scalable multi-brand application using a multi-modular setup.Experience with test-driven development; able to write testable code (unit tests, integration, and end-to-end tests).Critical thinker, able to review PR with care and communicate improvements positively.A system thinker, able to identify areas of potential improvement and develop plans to execute the improvements.High-energy, self-motivated, and proactive; able to work in an international and diverse team in a start-up company.Familiar with applying agile processes, continuous development, continuous integration, and test automation.A flexible, service-minded colleague with good analytical skills, reliable, pragmatic, and result-driven.Bachelor or Master's degree in a relevant engineering discipline.Good communication and presentation skills.Fluent in English, both oral and written (company language).Why Us?We are looking for someone ready to proactively bring new ideas to the team, push boundaries, and constantly look for innovation.
