Morningstar DBRS' Private Credit team is seeking a highly motivated individual with four to five years of experience in corporate credit analysis, preferably in structured finance.Reporting directly to the Managing Director, Asset Finance Legal, Fundamental Credit Ratings, with alignment to the Managing Director, Head of European Credit Ratings, the successful candidate will manage relationships with issuers and bankers as required and ensure the provision of high quality and timely analysis.Responsibilities include:Develop and maintain cashflow models in Intex Dealmaker, Excel, and Python;Enhance and improve analytical tools such as Intex Runner;Communicate cash flow analysis to senior staff and colleagues;Review related legal documents.RequirementsCompleted a bachelor (or equivalent) degree in finance, financial engineering, or a similar quantitative discipline;1-2 years of experience in the financial services industry;Knowledge of structured product bonds and derivatives;Self-starter and team player with demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment;Interest in working with technology tools such as Github, JIRA, Confluence, Jupyter Notebooks, Tableau;Knowledge of Python or other object-oriented language.Nice to HaveRelated Structured Finance transaction experience (RMBS, ABS, CLOs, NPLs);Familiarity with cash flow modelling of structured products and technical expertise in using fixed income analytical software such as Intex (Dealmaker, Calc, Wrapper);Advanced knowledge of Excel/VBA functionality;Knowledge of R, Matlab, or C++/C#.About UsMorningstar DBRS is a leading provider of independent rating services and opinions for corporate and sovereign entities, financial institutions, and project and structured finance instruments globally.
