Job DescriptionPosition Overview: The Analyst, Affiliate Finance will actively participate in the daily activities of the Finance and Business Operations department of the Iberia Cluster. He/She will aim to cover and learn from all areas managed by the department locally, gaining a broad understanding of the inherent tasks.Key Responsibilities: He/She will carry out activities for Spain and Portugal, such as:Financial Planning:Assist FP&A Managers in their duties, including participating in the construction of annual budgets and subsequent monthly reviews.Engage in the construction of expense estimates with various departments and subsequent budget deviation control, proposing corrective measures in alignment with area Managers and their tutor.Accounting:Participate in monthly close tasks (calculation of provisions, reviews, sales closing), SOX controls, etc.Accounts Receivable:Monitor collected amounts, attend to clients, perform periodic reconciliations, follow up on old debt and DSO.Accounts Payable:Review, classify, and send invoices to GBS for timely processing, control PO aging, receptions, and assist owners in creating POs.Orders/Inventory Management:Collaborate in the reconciliation and analysis of orders, assist in the returns process, and inventory reconciliation with our logistics service provider.Objectives: The aim is for the mission is to participate in all relevant initiatives within the area, acquiring knowledge and learning not only about project management and coordination but also understanding their generation based on business needs and contributing to the company's omnichannel transformation.QualificationsRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Economics or Business Administration.Postgraduate degree in business management or finance is highly valued.Proficiency in English is mandatory.At least 1 year of experience as an intern and/or 1 year of experience in financial departments within a multinational environment.Desired Skills:Eagerness to learn and develop.Strong belief in teamwork.Flexibility and versatility.Clear orientation towards results and internal customer service.Good analytical skills.Excellent communication skills, dynamic and proactive.Additional InformationSalario: 28.000€ anuales + beneficiosWhy Biogen?We are a global team with a commitment to excellence, and a pioneering spirit.
