NoOffer DescriptionMission: Develop models of AI/ML for the estimate of the biomass of the vegetation, and its evolution due to climatic change, from satellite data and in situ measurements.Functions:Process satellite data and in situ measurements, with emphasis on synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data.Develop AI/ML algorithms for estimating vegetation biomass based on satellite data and in situ measurements.Experience in similar functions is valued, specifically in research activities in both university and industrial settings.LanguagesCATALAN: BasicENGLISH: GoodSPANISH: GoodYears of Research Experience: 1 - 4Additional InformationEligibility Criteria: All candidates who cannot prove the required academic degree will be immediately withdrawn from the selection process.The CVs will be assessed according to the following criteria:The maximum score for candidates who meet all eligibility criteria is 10 points.Threshold: 5 points.Score distribution:1 point for required specialty.2 points for required academic training.2 points for technical competencies.1 point for organizational competencies.3 points for professional experience.1 point for any aspect of the candidate's profile deemed especially relevant by the Selection Committee.If the Selection Committee decides to include a personal interview as an additional step in the selection process, only candidates scoring 5 or above will be retained for the interview.Interview Assessment Criteria:Threshold: 3 points.Score distribution:2 points for adequacy to functional competencies of the job.2 points for adequacy of professional experience.1 point for any aspect of the candidate's profile deemed especially relevant by the Selection Committee.Eligible candidates will be ranked from highest to lowest score based on these criteria.Selection ProcessThe planned selection process is as follows:The members of the Selection Committee will determine the selection process for each case, whether it involves only the CV assessment or additional procedures such as interviews, tests, etc.Each phase of the selection process will be reported on the website where the offer is published.The name of the selected candidate will be published on the same website
