Surgical services at HRH include general surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, oral maxillofacial, orthopedics, otolaryngology, pediatric, plastic surgery, urology, vascular surgery.
HRH operates 19 operating rooms, 5 endoscopy rooms, a labour and delivery unit with 3 operating rooms as well as a 4-bay anesthesia block room.
Call coverage consists of two anesthesiologists daily for OR and OB.
Right now we are looking for: ANAESTHESIOLOGISTS Candidates must be FRCPC anesthesiologists.
No additional fellowship training is required, but additional training in pediatric or obstetrical anesthesia would be an asset as well as skills in quality improvement and excellence in teaching medical learners.
In addition to demonstrated clinical excellence and outstanding interpersonal skills, you require relevant certification from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada and are a member of the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Ontario.
HRH has an expectation that all physicians will apply for an academic appointment in the Temerty Faculty of Medicine, University of Toronto.
