We are seeking an Amazon Brand Manager to join our team and drive the growth of our Amazon business. Job Summary The Amazon Brand Manager will play a pivotal role in developing strategies, managing implementation, and driving growth on Amazon. This role requires a strong understanding of Amazon fundamentals such as CRO, SEO, PPC, and listing management, with proven experience in managing higher Average Order Value (AOV) products. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a strong background in Amazon marketing (including PPC management), an analytical mindset, and a track record of delivering significant revenue growth. This individual will work cross-functionally with assistants and the leadership team to ensure the consistent execution of Amazon strategies and the achievement of business goals. Key Responsibilities Amazon Growth Strategy & Implementation Develop and implement strategies to drive growth, focusing on conversion rate optimization (CRO), SEO, and general listing improvements. Work closely with an assistant to execute growth plans, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time. Collaborate with the graphic designer to develop new creative strategies for Amazon, ensuring visuals align with listing optimization best practices (e.g., new A content, main images, and storefront visuals). Create clear, actionable briefs for optimizations (e.g., storefront updates, creative improvements) with detailed suggestions to share with the team. Continuously analyze Amazon data and trends to identify new opportunities for growth and optimization. Optimize and maintain the Amazon storefront to ensure a premium, cohesive brand experience that resonates with high-AOV customers. PPC Management Oversee overall account daily, weekly, and monthly management. Optimize bids and budgets on a campaign and product level. Conduct ongoing keyword research to discover new opportunities and optimize search terms. Track and expand keywords, ensuring effective performance. Launch and optimize campaigns for existing products and new product launches Perform creative testing for Sponsored Brands (SB, SBV) and Sponsored Display (SD) campaigns. Develop and manage weekly and monthly reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as spend, sales, TACOS. Listing Management & Optimization Ensure all Amazon listings (titles, bullets, A content, images) are optimized, up-to-date, and consistent across all marketplaces. Work with the creative and content teams to ensure high-quality visuals and messaging that resonate with higher AOV buyers. Conduct regular audits of listings to maintain accuracy, keyword relevancy, and compliance with Amazon guidelines. Track and report copycat products or IP violations, suggesting and implementing effective takedown strategies to protect brand integrity. Drive A/B testing for key listings, images, and storefront modules to optimize for conversions. Forecasting & Inventory Management Collaborate with the sales team to ensure forecasts are accurate and achievable. Monitor inventory levels and sales performance to avoid stockouts and overstock situations. Align advertising efforts with forecasts to meet sales goals. Ensure the P&L for the Amazon channel is on target, balancing revenue growth, profitability, and costs. Account Health Management Ensure general Amazon account health by proactively addressing performance notifications, customer feedback, and compliance. Resolve any account-related issues (e.g., suspensions, ASIN removals) quickly and effectively. Stay on top of Amazon policy changes to mitigate risks. Brand Protection & Competitor Analysis Proactively monitor competitors and identify opportunities for differentiation. Regularly review competitor product listings and pricing to ensure brand positioning remains premium and differentiated. Track emerging trends in Amazon strategy, storefront design, and category-specific innovations. Identify and report on new competitive threats, and recommend strategic responses. Customer Review & Content Management Develop strategies to increase organic customer reviews through Amazon-approved methods. Collaborate with the creative team on product images, A content, and videos to ensure visuals align with Amazon's best practices. Ownership of Amazon Channel Success Take full ownership of the Amazon sales channel's P&L and overall performance, ensuring revenue growth, profitability, and operational efficiency. Proactively identify challenges, propose solutions, and implement strategies to achieve sales and profit targets. Serve as the point person for all Amazon-related operations, driving accountability across the team. Qualifications 5 years of experience managing Amazon accounts, specifically for premium or higher AOV products. Very strong understanding of Amazon advertising, especially for seasonal brands like ours (sales spikes during Valentines Day, Father's Day and Q4) Strong understanding of Amazon CRO, SEO, and listing optimization best practices, including visual hierarchy and conversion-focused design principles. Proven track record in driving growth on Amazon beyond price competition. Forecasting and inventory planning experience. Strong analytical skills with proficiency in tools like Amazon Brand Analytics, Helium 10, SellerBoard, and Google Sheets. Ability to manage an assistant to drive implementation effectively.
