We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager for the Program Execution team within the Global Products and Technology organization. As a Program Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for driving excellence in product delivery, working with stakeholders to drive the R&D Roadmap/Planning and Execution processes and making improvements to how we collaborate across teams to establish Roadmap priorities.
In addition, you will be responsible for managing the team of program and project managers who work directly with the R&D departments in planning and managing the roadmaps and cross-organizational projects. You will also be responsible for defining and reporting on an aggregate cross-team and cross-product view of progress against deliverables targeted for each release.
Responsibilities include: Leading the Portfolio Planning process for R&D Creating and communicating an R&D Roadmap Leading efforts with stakeholders to identify critical path items and dependencies across teams and to reach clarity on priorities and sequencing for delivery plans and R&D Roadmap definition Leveraging project management methodologies and industry-leading practices to ensure that relevant knowledge, skills, tools and techniques are applied to Portfolio management and product delivery Leading a team of Project Managers across R&D to drive product delivery Driving improvements in our ways of working with regards to Execution of beat objectives and release plans Leading retrospectives to review success measures and collaborating with stakeholders across teams to drive improvements Defining and reporting on an aggregate view of cross-team and cross-product progress against release objectives Driving risk mitigation discussions and tracking corrective actions being taken to keep program deliverables on track Tracking the customer Value successfully delivered each beat and creating an aggregate cross-product summary of value delivered each release for communication to stakeholders Collaborating with key stakeholders to define and monitor churn metrics to achieve constant process improvements to our ways of working Developing strong relationships with Product Management and R&D stakeholders Presenting to all levels of management Qualifications include: University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or in a related discipline Minimum of 10 years related experience including in progressive leadership/management roles and coordinating the achievement of objectives across multiple disciplines or locations Very strong problem solving and influencing skills, proficient at analyzing multiple needs and developing business cases/justification tailored to right audiences to affect change Very strong project management skills, experienced in driving complex large-scale projects across multiple disciplines and geographies Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining a professional relationship with business partners (external and internal) Ability to proactively collaborate across business to achieve cross-functional success Ability to balance the big picture with meeting the day-to-day needs of the organization Excellent analytic, interpersonal and communication skills to influence and engage colleagues, along with a broad understanding of the businesses they support Ability to interact with various levels of management in a multi-tasking, deadline oriented, team environment Solution-oriented with demonstrated ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with key stakeholders, peers, and team members Persistent, determined and resilient, with a very strong customer service orientation Strong interpersonal skills, able to influence and promote cross functional collaboration Ability to partner with both technical and non-technical staff Location: The role is located in Ottawa, Canada or Lund, Sweden.
