Job Description
The Miravia Risk team is seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to oversee and manage seller onboarding to ensure compliance and mitigate risks associated with seller activities. In addition, the Senior Compliance Manager will track regulatory changes, implement new regulations, conduct internal audits, and carry out risk assessments on new features. The ideal candidate will have a strong compliance background, particularly in the e-commerce sector, and will be instrumental in maintaining our standards and regulatory compliance. A legal background is highly preferable to navigate complex regulatory landscapes effectively.
Seller Onboarding: Oversee and manage the seller onboarding process and operations team, ensuring all new sellers meet the established compliance criteria. Implement significant developments in the onboarding experience. Act as a gatekeeper for maintaining quality and compliance, avoiding conflicts of interest with other teams' objectives.
Regulatory Compliance: Track and stay updated with regulatory changes and ensure the implementation of new regulations within the company. Develop and maintain internal policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international regulatory requirements. Conduct risk assessments on new Miravia features to identify potential compliance issues and recommend mitigating actions.
Internal Auditing: Perform internal audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Document audit findings and provide recommendations for corrective actions. Work with relevant teams to implement and monitor the effectiveness of the recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments to integrate compliance requirements into their processes. Conduct training sessions for staff to raise awareness about regulatory requirements and compliance standards. Act as a point of contact for internal teams on compliance-related queries.
Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver a company-wide training program focused on risk and compliance. Ensure that all employees are educated and aware of regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards. Regularly update the training materials to reflect changes in regulations and company policies.
Position Requirement
Expectations Experience & Knowledge: Proven experience in a compliance role, preferably within the e-commerce or related industry. Strong understanding of local and international regulatory requirements applicable to the e-commerce sector. A legal background is highly preferable to effectively navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
