KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:The Head of Partnerships will lead our efforts to establish and nurture relationships with potential and existing partners, driving mutual growth and enhancing our market position.
You will be responsible for identifying partnership opportunities, building a network of valuable relationships, and overseeing the entire lifecycle of strategic partnerships—from prospecting and negotiation to post-launch success.
This role is crucial for accelerating business growth and expanding our reach within the global payments ecosystem.Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and develop new partnership opportunities within the payments, financial services, and technology sectors.
This includes potential partnerships with banks, fintech startups, ISOs (Independent Sales Organizations), and global technology providers.Relationship Management: Build, manage, and strengthen long-term relationships with key partners, ensuring the success and growth of each partnership.Revenue Growth Market Expansion: Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product teams to align partnership strategies with company growth objectives and drive revenue from new and existing partnerships.Partnership Strategy Execution: Develop and execute a clear partnership strategy that aligns with company objectives and priorities, leveraging existing relationships and identifying new, innovative opportunities.Negotiation Deal Structuring: Lead the negotiation and structuring of partnership agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms, and facilitating a smooth implementation of partnership initiatives.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, legal, product, operations) to ensure successful onboarding, integration, and ongoing support of partners.Performance Metrics Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for partnerships and report on performance regularly, tracking impact on revenue, customer acquisition, and other business metrics.KEY REQUIREMENTSExperience: Minimum of 8-10 years in partnership management, business development, or strategic alliances within the fintech, payments, or financial services sectors.
Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in building and scaling strategic partnerships, particularly in the payments or fintech space.A Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.Strong Negotiator: Exceptional negotiation, deal structuring, and relationship-building skills with an ability to drive complex partnerships from inception to execution.Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the payments ecosystem, fintech innovations, and the regulatory landscape affecting payment systems and partnerships.Analytical Strategic Thinker: Ability to assess partnership potential, track key metrics, and adapt strategies to maximize business impact.Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, events, and industry conferences.
