For more information visit www.Obs.Tv .DescriptionOBS is looking for an Accounts Payable Officer to work within our Corporate Finance Department, to cover for a temporary leave, expected to last up to 12 months as a minimum.
We are looking for a team player with a strong work ethic and the ability to work with different nationalities and cultures.DutiesThis position will provide support to the Corporate Finance department by managing daily accounting and administrative tasks, including but not limited to the following:Processing of vendors' invoices.Registration of note expenses.Preparation of payment batches.Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.Reconciliation and recording of corporate credit cards and petty cash transactions.Banks reconciliation and posting of daily movements and transactions including payables balances.Archive of suppliers' invoices, note expenses, bank statements, and other accounting documentation.Posting of VAT and withholdings entries.Liaison with external auditors.Ensuring that accounting/financial information is accurate and updated in a timely manner.Execution of the Internal Controls assigned.Checking and reviewing vendors' tax residence certificates.Preparation of any ad hoc internal report requested by the Finance department or by any other area or department within the Company.Daily management of the Accounts Payable inbox and communication with vendors.ExperienceApplicants should have:Bachelor's degree in Economics or Business Administration.2 to 3 years of experience managing the tasks described, preferably in a multinational environment.Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.Experience in SAP FICO and SAP Master Data Management.Knowledge of principles of national and international taxation is required.Advanced user of MS Office, especially Excel.Ability to analyze and solve problems.Flexible with a team-working approach.Good communication skills with company's departments and third parties.Fluent written and spoken English essential.
