ERM is looking for a Senior Environmental Consultant with experience in Project Management and environmental impact assessment to join our growing Capital Project Delivery team in Spain.
The job will be offered as a full-time, hybrid work opportunity with the possibility to work from our Madrid or Barcelona office and remotely.Key responsibilities include:Develop Prefeasibility and Environmental Social Impact Assessment studies, permitting studies, and EDD (mainly focused on the Italian market).Manage environmental critical aspects to ensure compliance with all applicable Spanish regulations.Ability and flexibility to work across a range of services and sectors including: Energy (Renewables, Power, Oil Gas, H2), Infrastructure, CCSU, and Manufacturing.Support in managing or coordinating small size projects or whole elements of larger multidisciplinary or global projects.Deliver multiple project tasks or components, including the development of proposals.Supervise project team(s) and mentor junior personnel.Establish strong working relationships with clients through project delivery.Support commercial activities: Business Development, proposal writing, and pitching.About you:A master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or other relevant disciplines.Experience as a project manager and generating revenues.Ideally 4-6 years of experience in relevant fields such as consulting or environmental services, with specific focus on environmental permitting, EIA (Environmental Impact Assessment), and/or Environmental Social Due Diligence, in Spain.Proficiency in Spanish and English, written and spoken.Familiarity with International Standards (IFC, EBRD, etc.
