SATLANTIS is seeking an AIV Manager to be responsible for the overall Assembly, Integration, and Verification (AIV) of instrumentation for an astrophysics mission for the European Space Agency (ESA). While your primary focus will be on this ESA mission, you will also contribute to the development and improvement of AIV processes at Satlantis across other projects. In this role, you will lead the assembly, integration, and testing of the payload, ensuring mission success and advancing Satlantis' technical capabilities. Tasks and responsibilities AIV Process Management: Develop, implement, and optimize assembly, integration, and verification processes for the instrumentation, ensuring fulfillment of requirements, adherence to industry standards, and best practices. Project Planning: Collaborate with project managers to define schedules, allocate resources, and establish milestones to ensure efficient and timely execution of project activities. Schedule Management: Prepare, maintain, and oversee the AIV schedule for the project. Documentation Preparation: Plan, produce, maintain, monitor, and coordinate the preparation of AIV documentation. This includes AIV documents: Verification Control Document (VCD), AIT Plan, Test Plans, Test Specifications, Test Procedures, Test Reports, GSE design report, dashboards, setup design, as-run procedures, and documentation for main instrument reviews (PDR, CDR, QAR), as well as key AIT reviews such as IRR (Integration Readiness Review), TRR (Test Readiness Review), and PTR (Post-Test Review). Non-Conformance Management: Follow up on non-conformance reports, working closely with Product Assurance to assess the impact on ongoing or planned tests. Review Participation: Lead or coordinate AIV participation in various reviews and meetings, including IRR, TRR, PTR, NRB (Non-conformance Review Board), progress meetings, and other relevant project reviews. Position Requirements: Experience: 3-5 years of experience in AIV roles for space projects. Education: Master's degree in Aerospace, Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics, or a related field. Desired Experience & Strengths Experience with optical payloads. Hands-on hardware experience Familiarity with ESA projects and ECSS. Highly motivated and passionate about space systems. Proactive, creative, and results-oriented team player with a broad perspective. Agile and flexible, capable of working across geographically distributed teams. Languages: Fluency in spoken and written English is essential. Negotiation level in Spanish is considered a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
