.Airline Account Management PrincipalJob Title: Airline Account Management PrincipalThis role acts as a primary regional contact for our airline existing customers as well as new prospects in EMEA.The main goal is to generate new business opportunities with existing and new customers and to retain existing customers. Define and implement a business development and retention strategy for the assigned customers, through excellent customer service. Being the account manager in the region, they have the responsibility of working with business functions and other organizations like Product, Services, Marketing, Finance, and Legal to address customers' requirements.Customer ExcellenceBuild and maintain relationships between the relevant levels of decision for both Amadeus and customer organizations.Facilitate and foster these relationships to maximize information flow, collaborating and advocating for customer satisfaction.Advocate customer voice into Amadeus to ensure the best service to customers.Primary contact for resolving customer issues when standard processes have failed.Ensure contract execution for the benefit of both Amadeus and customers and liaise with legal to resolve issues.Monitor quality of product and service delivery to customers, escalate delivery issues, and request improvements if needed.New SalesLead commercial and functional projects to create value-added solutions.Manage directly (for straightforward sales) or through the sales organization the targeting, sale, negotiation, and contracting processes for additional products and services.Review and approve proposals, respond to RFPs, and delivery plans proposed by the business units.Ensure that CRM information is updated at all times.Ensure billing is correct and collection is according to plan.Business Development & BudgetingConduct high-level industry research to develop effective sales solutions.Promote Amadeus products and services to prospective clients, who can be outside the aviation industry.Interact with clients to develop potential new products and services.Develop and implement business development strategies.Monitor and manage budget allocations for business development activities.MarketingAdvocate customer voice within Amadeus and externally within the aviation industry.Coordinate case studies, quotes, and references with customers.Support marketing initiatives.Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials.Participate in industry events and conferences to represent Amadeus.About the Ideal CandidateMaster's degree in economics, management, engineering, or equivalent.Over 5 years of airline experience in a commercial role, ideally in revenue management.Over 5 years of sales experience within the aviation industry.Strong knowledge about the commercial airline IT landscape (revenue management, eCommerce, distribution, etc.) and processes.Effective communication, presentation, and leadership skills with project management skills preferred
