Airflow Consultant (Senior) The Airflow team consists of 3 engineers - including this position - plus a Product Owner and a Scrum Master. The team is part of the larger Integration team of ca. 15 people - as a sub-team focusing on Airflow and Control-M technology and existing working solutions. The team works as a separate agile team with its own backlog, daily stand-ups, and other meetings in a SCRUM-like setup, using the SAFe framework – based on the Azure DevOps planning tool. The consultant should also be prepared to travel approx. 10% to Denmark. Day-to-day responsibilities: Implement and deploy the Apache Airflow platform Support the migration activities from Control-M to Airflow (version 2.5.0) Connect the new platform to the Azure Kubernetes cluster Be a technical lead on the implementation project Share the knowledge with project colleagues Requirements: Performed migration from Control-M to Airflow (top priority) Implemented and deployed Apache Airflow platforms Experienced in containerization, preferably AKS Is familiar with Azure, Azure Data Lake, and Python Acquainted with integration techniques & patterns Fluent in written and spoken English Nice to have: Worked in Agile Familiar with WinRM Some infrastructure knowledge (servers, DBs) would be a plus In addition, you have excellent communication skills and the ability to easily create good relationships with your stakeholders. You should be a subject matter expert within this field rather than a team. You're able to plan your work efficiently, you're proactive, and you're able to see problems from the end-user perspective. You also have an analytical approach to your work and the ability to understand technically complex connections. Finally, you're a team player. The work is in a hybrid model from Warsaw, which is preferable. Start from 1st of April.
