DescriptionWe are responsible for the end-to-end user experiences of Global Siri. As a Language Engineer for Siri in German, your focus will span across all components of our products. Through data-driven analysis, you will identify target areas and build up the technical understanding to create meaningful contributions. You will partner with core component teams to design and structure innovations serving the German user market, implement and iterate on technical solutions in a collaborative environment. You will share your expertise and mentor others while continuously learning from colleagues. Excellent communication skills will be required to convey ideas clearly and coordinate work across multiple teams.
Minimum QualificationsM.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience with proven relevant industry experience.Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions to improve user experience for the German market.Preferred QualificationsNative speaker fluency in German and awareness of the culture of German-speaking countries.Product-focused and driven by end-user experience.Proficiency in more than one programming language such as Python, Swift, Rust, C++, or Go.Strong skills in object-oriented software design and programming and experience with working on large code bases.Experience with machine learning and NLP techniques applied to shipping products.Experience with training and evaluating LLMs and building scalable workflows leveraging LLMs.Solid understanding of ML concepts to effectively contribute to projects and initiatives applied to the German language.Collaborative attitude and flexible mindset to a fast-changing environment.
