The research will be focusing on the design and development of AI-based technologies for 2D and 3D/volumetric data. Particular importance will be given to:
Neural 3D Reconstruction and enhancement (super-resolution, occlusions removal, camera calibration, NeRF)Neural-based volumetric video compression (autoencoders, CNN, DNN for 3D video compression)Responsibilities: Image and Video ProcessingVideo Coding (particularly relevant for 3D video and/or point clouds)3D video Processing (calibration, reconstruction)AI and Neural-based image and video processingMinimum Requirements: Thorough understanding of Deep Learning / Machine Learning (i.e., architecture, mathematics, datasets, and intuition behind)Experience with any of the Deep Learning frameworks (Tensorflow, PyTorch, Jax, Caffé, Keras, etc.)Strong C/C++ programming and software design skillsPython experience is a plusEnjoy working on both Research & Development related activitiesOther Relevant Requirements Include: Programming skills (Unity, C#, C++, Python)Hardware and electronics skills (RGBD and/or lightfield cameras knowledge)English professional proficiencyWriting and presenting skillsCommunication skillsTeamwork, and supervision of team membersWho We Are: The greatest value of i2CAT is the talent of the people who make up our human team.
