A direct clinical case load.Demonstrating competency in a range of evidence based therapeutic interventions.Implement evidenced-based individual, family and/or other group therapies and other specific programs using a range of models and skills as a single practitioner and/or as part of a multidisciplinary approach.Act as a consultant and resource person to CAMHS, other agencies and the community.Promote access and equity of services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children and young people and their families.About You To be successful in this role, you will have:
Appropriate degree (Clinical) or equivalent qualification which recognised by the Psychology Board of Australia and general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia + hold a 2-year Master within Psychology.Clinical experience in the treatment and management of complex child and adolescent mental health issues.Demonstrated knowledge of the theory and practice of clinical work within psychology, including group or family work.Ability to effectively communicate and work with other professionals, facilitate group functions and work as a team member.Ability to work with a high degree of responsibility with limited supervision and direction.What WCHN Can Offer You Relocation financial support may be negotiated, subject to eligibility.
