Position: Client Manager in Spain As Client Manager in Spain, you will work on the support and development of clients and dealers.
You will build and develop long-term, trusting relationships with clients at management, tactical, and operational levels.
You will provide professional advice and consult customers on Rijk Zwaan products and modern technologies.
You will track market trends and look for new clients, working with a professional CRM system to accurately forecast sales results.
Responsibilities: Define the strategy for your clients (Know their position in the chain, identify potential growth opportunities, create the strategy, and translate it into a concrete client plan).
Lead client activities (Be the first point of contact for the client, introduce the right specialists at the right time, identify and develop relationships with key decision-makers at all levels, work across Rijk Zwaan to create custom solutions, and identify strategic partnership opportunities).
Be accountable for results (Identify sales opportunities, report activities of the competition, make the value of our proposition explicit, and be responsible for the collection of overdue payments).
Use RZ systems and tools for effective international collaboration (CRM, analyze client information, timely sales forecasts).
Communicate with relevant stakeholders.
You will be based in Almería and be committed to providing a high service level while maintaining the ethics of the company.
You will take initiative easily and have a commercial, client-focused approach.
You will possess good analytical skills and the ability to think strategically.
You will be a team player with strong communication skills, keeping track of the latest developments in the horticultural industry, and be an independent self-starter with the ability to set your own goals in line with company policy and local management.
Qualifications: A completed Bachelor's degree in the field of Agriculture.
7-10 years of relevant work experience in sales and account management in an international environment.
Leadership skills.
Influence and persuasion to lead and manage diverse client teams.
Networking skills – ability to build bridges and connect people.
Willingness to travel frequently (both domestic and international).
Project and process management skills.
Good command of written and spoken English.
