Graduate (Bachelor's degree, Engineer, Architect or equivalent).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION: Master's Degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Agronomic Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Bioinformatics, Food Science and Technology or equivalent qualifications.
DEDICATION: Full-time (35 hours/week).
GROSS ANNUAL REMUNERATION: The worker will receive an annual gross remuneration of 29,611.82 euros.
PROJECT TITLE: Soil Microbiology: Grants for Ramón y Cajal contracts within the scope of the State Subprogramme of Incorporation, financial year 2021.
DURATION: The term of this contract will be linked to the availability of the aforementioned line of research: Soil Microbiology.
TASKS TO BE CARRIED OUT: The activities are related to the projects BIOSERVICES and SOILDIVERAGRO.
They consist of the analysis of the microbiome of agricultural soils and how they are affected by different climatic and agronomic parameters.
To do this, analysis is mainly required of the results of a graph-based statistical model, providing a Bio-based interpretation.
PLACE OF WORK: Higher Technical School of Agricultural Engineering (ETSIA) - Institute of Plant Biotechnology (IBV).
Specific Requirements: Academic background (20%): The academic record and the suitability of the qualifications for the profile will be assessed.
Specific training (20%): Knowledge of biology and ecology, (bio)statistics, and knowledge of programming and graph-based models will be especially valued.
Professional experience (20%): Previous participation in research projects will be positively valued.
Languages (10%): Professional proficiency in Spanish or English will be required.
Knowledge of both languages will be an asset.
A certificate of proficiency may be presented or demonstrated during the interview.
