Role purpose The Agile Coach/Scrum Master will take overall responsibility for establishing and improvement of agile methodologies within the various cloud migration teams. The Agile Coach/Scrum Master will support 4 squads in the Cloud Migration Service organization. The primary focus is the creation of a next generation Business Intelligence and Analytics solution running in Google Cloud and the associated data pipelines for evolution of the solution. Ensuring proper collection of business requirements with customers and partners to enable functional and technical design of changes. We are replacing all the existing business intelligence solutions in each country into a single solution for the whole of Vodafone.
This role will coach and lead virtual teams in agile and lean practices, solve / unblock issues between teams and departments at the highest level, lead the team through the full product lifecycle to successful delivery. The role will need to bridge / resolve challenges driven by the distributed location of the resources with specific attention on building trust between team and product owners, reducing misunderstanding from poor communication, enforce ability to ask the right question, assure clarity on direction, priorities and targets. Creation of recommendation and evidence of metrics / procedures aiming to increase the product development quality and team productivity will be part of role responsibilities. The role will report into the Head of Resourcing and Delivery, based in London. On a day to day basis, the role will work alongside IT Implementation Lead accountable for the overall cloud migration plan and will own team coordination activities for one or more countries during the analysis, migration and implementation phase.
Once the integration of country will be live and the focus will shift to enhance, evolve the solution based on future needs.
As a Specialist Agile Practitioner, you´ll be in charge of the following responsibilities:
Train, measure, challenge delivery team through a path of continuous improvements.Ensure positive and constructive communication between Product Owner and team members.Makes sure that all what described in the relevant and approved design is clear and delivered with the right level of quality.Make sure products produced do not introduce regressions. Enforce importance of high quality delivery, assure coverage of positive and negative testing, building solid shippable products.Monitor and report on quality of all aspects of the team delivery accountability: design, documentation, implementation, testing, operational guidelines.Contribute to enhance / optimize processes, quality, performances. What do you bring? Agile certification is a must together with project management proven experience (CSM/PSM Certified).Google Cloud Platform experience / certification is preferred.Scaled Agile Certification (preferable).Continuous Delivery, Integration, Testing proved experience will be preferred.Understanding of cloud based solutions preferably GCP (optional).Experience with Jira and burn down, burn up charts.Experience with system integration covering all key aspects of IT (Application Development, Data, Test, Deployment, Operations, Infrastructure, Connectivity).Experience in dealing with an international, multi-cultural and distributed team with complex reporting lines (onshore, offshore and local markets).Ability to work in any country and to travel during the implementation phases.Presentation and communication skills will be required.
