We always do what's right, maintaining high ethical standards and conducting business safely and transparently.Would you like to join us?Your role :The Senior Accountant is held responsible for the full understanding, completeness, and accuracy of reporting for the countries in scope.As the senior accountant you will have full ownership of end-to end process from a US GAAP and Local GAAP (IFRS) perspective.You will be in charge of preparation and delivery of the Statutory Books and Direct Tax reporting of all entities under your responsibility in compliance with local and corporate policies.You will also work in close collaboration with external and internal auditors and tax experts, as well as being liaison between different teams, Country Controller and Commercial Finance.With a sound understanding of the local entities' underlying business, you will support an effective control environment and have a key role in the delivery of all controllership activities related to the legal entities under your responsibility.This includes Financial Accounting, Reporting and Internal Controls.What will you do :- Full ownership of end-to-end process from a US GAAP perspective / Local GAAP- Preparation of Local GAAP Financial Statements as applicable- Preparation of any reporting for Direct Tax purposes including Income Tax submission as applicable- Execution and maintenance of effective Internal controls- Main contact for external audit- SOX controls : Analytical Review, Manual Journal Entries, Accounts reconciliation review / follow up for improvements noted.- Provide accounting guidance and functional expertise to ensure quality and accuracy of all accounting and financial processes.- Provide accounting support and guidance to the accountants of the entities in scope with the objective of development.- Main contact for engagement with LE Controllers, other teams, and other centers- Key financial contact for the businessesQualificationsKnowledge and experience required for this role :- University degree in Accounting / Finance- Solid Accounting and financial reporting experience required : 5 to 7 years direct exposure to a European GAAP- US GAAP, IFRS knowledge and experience in Tax matters- Previous experience in audit or working experience for the big 4 is a plus.- Business proficiency in English is a must, any other additional European language is a plus.- Advanced knowledge of SAP is an asset.- Good Excel skills required.We appreciate also :- Good planning & organizing skills.- Strong interpersonal skills- Willing to take responsibility and showing a high degree of motivation.- Problem-solving and solution oriented- Networking : ability to effectively work with a wide variety of organizations and people- Flexibility to get rapidly adjusted to new situations in a continuously changing environment.What we offer :- Challenging but interesting job in international ambitious work environment- Culture, values, and great atmosphere- Competitive salary- Attractive compensation plan- Flexibility in work arrangements- We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and value driven company.
