Kensington School is seeking to appoint an Admissions Assistant for an immediate start.
As our Admissions Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the acquisition, conversion, and retention strategy of Kensington School, Pozuelo, Madrid. Reporting to the Head of School and Head of Admissions, you will be responsible for the delivery and development of a highly effective approach to Admissions that is responsive to the evolving needs of identified target audiences, grounded in the principles of customer service excellence and the values of Kensington School.
The successful candidate will bring innovative thinking and a collaborative style to motivate and empower the Admissions team to achieve their targets.
The Admissions Assistant is expected to have a whole school approach based on a detailed understanding and appreciation of the systems and procedures required to deliver a successful admissions programme at Kensington, working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, and providing the link between the school's academic calendar and the annual admissions cycle.
Key Responsibilities:Communicate with parents of prospective students as the first point of contact, to ensure they receive accurate and timely information and advice regarding admission to the school.Be an active part of our Admissions team, ensuring they have the knowledge, training, and support to deliver a customer-centred service.Ensure the smooth running of visits and conduct tours of the school in and out of term time as required.Ensure service standards and quality assurance procedures are met and evolve with parent expectations and needs.Ensure admissions, conversion approach and associated processes enable the school to optimise achievement of student recruitment targets with significant accountability for conversion from enquiry to application and application to enrolment.Assist the Senior Leadership Team to implement best practice processes to increase retention.Working with the Inspired Group Marketing Department, update and circulate relevant publications such as school calendars, newsletters, prospectus, university destinations, etc. to ensure information is conveyed clearly and concisely, positively promoting the attributes of the school at all touch points.Generate and maintain a close network of partners, prospective parents, students, feeder schools, partner organisations, colleges, local businesses, and visitors to the school. Qualifications & Experience:Educated to degree level plus one year's related experience in an educational setting. (Candidates without a bachelor's degree but with equivalent professional experience are encouraged to apply).An understanding of the principles of sales and marketing. Outstanding interpersonal skills with an ability to lead and motivate a team of staff and build effective and trusting relationships and professional networks in the wider community.Highly competent using a range of IT systems including MIS & data analytics tools. Experience of working with CRM systems and integration with the sales life cycle. Knowledge of JDE and Open Apply would be useful.
