We are looking for an Administrative Procurement Team Lead to provide day-to-day leadership, recruitment, training, and development of our Administrative Procurement Team of up to 10 team members for the EMEA market in our Shared Service Center in Barcelona.
As Administrative Procurement Team Lead, you will: Develop the skills and competencies of team members through engagement and training across multiple processes.
Ensure the team creates Purchase Orders and follow-up tasks accurately and on time.
Assess and balance team workload for daily operations supporting multiple countries and special initiatives.
Maintain appropriate levels of service to internal clients as well as our suppliers.
Drive adherence to governance standards against internal and external controls within the end-to-end process.
Establish targets for key metrics and motivate team performance to achieve targets.
Encourage best practice sharing and process convergence regionally and globally for Supplier Services sub-processes.
You will have: At least 3 years of Team Lead experience within an international environment.
Background and expertise in Procurement or Supply Chain, with a great understanding of the structure and operation of the Shared Service Center.
Able to work virtually across cultures and functions.
Strong analytical, structured, and problem-solving skills with abilities to negotiate.
Proficient in English; any other EMEA language will be an asset.
Good knowledge of Excel.
SAP or similar ERP skills (preferably within a Materials Management environment).
