Trainline Advertising will enable advertisers to engage with our customers through the entire marketing funnel - from awareness through to purchase and loyalty.About the RoleWe are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Ad Sales Planning & Optimisation Manager to join our Advertising team. You will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our digital advertising campaigns across various clients and platforms. The role broadly covers four areas of responsibility: 1) assisting the ad sales team with media plans and pitches, 2) successful execution and optimisation of programmatic and direct advertising campaigns, 3) client relationship management to nurture and grow our advertising accounts, and 4) establishing internal operational processes related to the sales and execution of on-platform and off-platform campaigns.You will work cross-functionally with internal teams including Ad Sales, Supply, Brand and Marketing, to achieve these objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in ad operations, a deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape and ad technologies and is an expert in Google Ad Manager.What you will do Manage relationships and grow revenue from existing advertising accounts across programmatic and direct.Oversee the end-to-end execution of digital advertising campaigns, including campaign setup, trafficking, and monitoring to ensure accurate and timely delivery of ads.Continuously monitor campaign performance and implement optimization strategies to maximize performance and revenue.Generate regular reports on campaign performance, including key metrics, trends, and actionable recommendations for optimization.Resolve ad delivery, ad quality, and technical issues, liaising with the relevant teams for support as needed
