In Nationale Nederlanden, the person is the one that makes the professional.If you have a passion for Actuarial or Risk Management and are looking for a position that meets your needs, we would be happy to see how we can match you to a role as Reporting Actuary, for a permanent contract, at Nationale Nederlanden Spain.What are you going to do?As a Reporting Actuary, you will have a multi-scope role that contributes to the comprehensive actuarial and risk reporting activities across various metrics (predominantly Solvency II), to the execution of the Actuarial and Risk function within Nationale Nederlanden Spain, as well as being an advisor on actuarial matters to management.
The main responsibilities for the role would be:Solvency II reporting, mainly related to the SII balance sheet, with a focus on technical provisions (including model and assumption changes and data quality), own funds (including movement analysis) and operating capital generation.Review of profit testing and reasonability of assumptions, methodologies, and models.Perform backtesting and actual vs expected experience assessments.Participate / provide support in specific projects, business plans and financial forecasts.IFRS 17 reporting, develop synergies between SII and IFRS 17 reporting through automatization of the processes.Candidate profile:Relevant academic bachelor's degree (or higher) in Actuarial sciences or similar (e.G.
econometrics, mathematics, statistics).Experience in Solvency II valuation and reporting (with a focus on SII Technical provisions and Own Funds).Experience with Solvency II SCR and ORSA/scenario testing is a strong plus.Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word).Experience and affinity with AFM actuarial software valuable.
Prophet, Moses.VBA, SQL, Python, R or similar (valuable).Strong communication skills (verbally and in writing).Fluent in English (writing and communication).Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities and a mentality to get things done.
