Operational Ownership
In this role, I will be assisting our Wellness & Experience team.
I will abide by Six Senses principles, core values, best practices, guidelines and objectives, while respecting other cultures and nationalities and projecting a positive and proactive position to help build and maintain a strong, loyal team.
My duties and responsibilities will include:
Communicate between organizer, supervisor, guide, and confidant to all hosts within the department.
Conduct excursions and activities inside and outside of the property in a safe and efficient manner that provides a high standard of service to the guest.
Provide accurate information about available activities at the property, gym usage, equipment usage rules and regulations.
Give exceptional service to go beyond the expectations of all guests.
Present and introduce the activities compendium and/or activity schedule to guests, suggesting suitable activities that provide for a personalized experience and answering questions regarding activities.
Effectively communicate with guests - verbally and through body language - to respond to any additional requests and to determine when an activity has been completed.
Check and clean all equipment used during any activity or recreational event.
Report any damage or excessive wear for proper replacement of recreation equipment to Wellness & Experience Manager.
Liaise with other departments to ensure that experience operations run smoothly and that bookings are taken correctly, adhered to, and billed correctly.
Handle, follow up, and report on guests' comments and feedback.
Efficient operation of all Wellness & Experience department tasks and guidelines to provide exceptional products and services within brand operating standards.
Knowledge of all safety, security, and emergency procedures related to my position in line with brand and statutory requirements.
Ensure accurate and up-to-date information is available.
Upsell all property facilities and activities.
Attend meetings and training as required.
Knowledge and strict adherence to LQA standards.
Perform any additional tasks given to me by supervisor/management.
I understand this is a guideline to the duties and may or may not change during my time in the position.

Skills and Experience
To execute the position of Activity GEM Trainee, I am studying a hospitality diploma/degree from a hospitality school. Having experience in a similar role will be a plus.
Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including PMS.
I have an excellent command of written and spoken English and a little bit of Spanish.
I will maintain a thorough understanding of Six Senses in terms of guidelines, rules and regulations, brand and operating standards, facilities, and services.
