Overview: The Activation technician will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and efficient customer order fulfillment through cross-functional collaboration with strategic buyers, material planning specialists, and accounts payable operations.
This position is responsible for managing procurement processes, supplier data, and streamlining supplier onboarding and payment workflows.
Additionally, the specialist will support sourcing initiatives, process improvements, and data management, while also managing purchase orders.
Key Responsibilities: Work closely with strategic buyers, material planning specialists, and accounts payable teams to ensure timely and efficient customer order fulfillment.
Foster strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth procurement processes.
Oversee and manage procurement processes, ensuring efficient and cost-effective supply ordering.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier data and records.
Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures in all procurement activities.
Negotiate costs, deadlines, and quantities with suppliers, ensuring all specifications are met.
Optimize payment workflows to ensure timely and accurate payments to suppliers Support sourcing initiatives to identify cost-saving opportunities and enhance supplier relationships.
Utilize data management tools to analyze and improve procurement performance.
Create, review, and manage purchase orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
Coordinate with relevant departments to address any issues impacting project progress.
Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related.
Supply chain Management.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, purchasing or a related role.
Desirable experience in Oil and Gas Industry.
Strong understanding of purchasing, procurement processes and supplier management.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in data management and analysis.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Advanced english is required.
