ACQUISITION AND ENGAGEMENT FUNDRAISING OFFICER (BASED IN ANY MSF SPAIN OFFICE) GENERAL CONTEXT
Médicos Sin Fronteras is an international and independent medical-humanitarian organization that provides assistance to populations in distress, victims of natural or man-made disasters, and victims of armed conflicts, without discrimination and irrespective of their race, religion, belief, or political affiliation.
ENVIRONMENT AND GENERAL OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION
This position is located in the Partner Acquisition Service within the Fundraising department. Hierarchically, it reports to the Head of Partner and Donor Acquisition and functionally to the Head of the Digital Unit.
PARTNER AND DONOR ACQUISITION Participate with the Digital Unit team in identifying and defining acquisition strategies for the Fundraising department, including identifying objectives, audiences, channels, messages, etc.
Plan and implement the defined strategies in online channels, in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Officer, regarding online marketing actions, defining objectives, KPIs, messages, and audiences. This includes online partner acquisition, both direct and through third parties (campaigns on Meta, Google, TikTok, telemarketing leads).
Plan and implement the launch of strategies in traditional and outdoor media, monitoring implementation and analyzing results.
Coordinate suppliers and agencies for implementing digital media campaigns, from creativity and production to monitoring and analyzing results.
Negotiate the allocation of spaces, both online and offline, and centralize all information in a database. Manage the planning and implementation of advertising campaigns with space providers through the allocation of free spaces to enhance the organization's visibility.
Responsible for retaining advertising space collaborators to ensure their participation in annual and emergency campaigns.
Ensure the quality of content regarding messages, images, value propositions, and calls to action, with an inclusive, diverse, and equitable (DEI) approach, aligned with the organization's values.
Identify new opportunities in the advertising market.
Coordinate the implementation of campaigns with delegated offices if necessary.
During Emergencies
Participate in the emergency working group and implement action protocols in the fundraising department.
Define, in coordination with the Digital Unit, fundraising actions for emergencies, from creativity to production, monitoring, and optimizing campaigns to maximize income.
Coordinate the implementation of emergency actions and monitor income evolution to avoid overfunding situations.
Online Store
Coordinate and execute sales campaigns aimed at both the social base, in collaboration with the Loyalty team, and cold audiences, and implement digital marketing campaigns for the online store.
Monitor sales and budgets for the online store.
Coordinate and follow up with the online store provider for developments, updates, and improvements.
Solidarity Initiatives and Weddings
Coordinate third-party solidarity initiatives in favor of the organization through events or online campaigns, designing new channels and citizen participation projects.
Coordinate solidarity initiatives both online and offline, evaluating and approving collaboration proposals according to the organization's fundraising principles.
Coordinate suppliers managing the online platform.
Supervise the execution of solidarity initiatives (agreements, authorizations, communication, image use, material shipping, administrative management) in coordination with the Partner Support teams (SAS). Monitor results to gain insights that maximize impact, improve processes, and optimize income.
Coordinate engagement actions, such as solidarity wedding cards and other materials, and coordinate activities with suppliers, dissemination, advertising, among others.
Conduct periodic market studies and benchmarks to analyze competition and detect strategies, tactics, and creative ideas that can inspire new ways to generate income while maximizing return on investment (ROI).
Develop new concepts and strategies alongside the Digital Marketing Officer and with the support of the Digital Insight & Optimization Officer, to measure results and extract insights that foster a culture of testing, learning, and continuous improvement.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, etc.
Knowledge of direct marketing and online marketing.
Experience in marketing, communication, and public relations departments.
Experience related to communication and event organization is valued.
Experience in telemarketing, sales, and negotiation is valued.
Knowledge/implication and/or experience in the social sector (NGOs, associations, etc.) is positively valued.
Field experience is positively valued.
Knowledge of Spanish and English.
Position based in any office of Médicos Sin Fronteras in Spain (Barcelona, Madrid, Seville, Valencia, Bilbao).
9-month contract to cover maternity leave in Spain.
Full-time position.
Gross annual salary: €35,033 (distributed in 12 monthly payments) + secondary benefits based on MSF OCBA's Compensation Policy.
Start date: early January 2025.
