We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our finance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable process, ensuring timely collection of payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities Invoice Management:
Generate and send out invoices to customers promptly.
Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments.
Ensure accuracy of invoices and address any discrepancies.
Contact customers to follow up on overdue payments.
Maintain accurate records of all collection activities.Reconciliation:
Reconcile accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Reconcile bank statements with accounts receivable records.Reporting:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports related to accounts receivable.
Report on collection activity and accounts receivable status.Customer Relations:
Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
Respond to customer inquiries and resolve billing issues in a timely manner.Process Improvement:
Identify and recommend improvements to the accounts receivable process.
Implement best practices for efficient and effective accounts receivable management. Qualifications Education:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred.Experience:
Experience with accounting software (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Oracle) and MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
Proven experience in finance administration and accounting processes. Requirements Strong understanding of accounting principles and accounts receivable processes.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Languages: Fluent English and Spanish (French is a plus).
