We're hiring for Accounts Payables Supervisor
Roles and Responsibilities Manage the regional APAY helpdesk resources especially in Asturias.
Champion process changes in search of better and more efficient team performance.
Responsible for the team's overall performance versus agreed objectives.
Liase with CGSC team to improve overall APAY performance, bridging the gap between the region and service center.
Participate in potential Controllership initiatives for standardization.
Supervise APAY team members, providing proactive feedback and development through annual Dialogue.
Identify training needs and organize trainings/workshops/sharing sessions as needed.
Coach/mentor team members in their specific processes.
Implement and maintain solid company & Accounts Payable policies and procedures.
Conduct root cause analysis of operating issues and design a path forward for resolution.
Ensure compliance with internal controls as well as with all local, company rules, laws, and regulations.
Optimize processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Ensure open and effective communication within the team and encourage cross-functional interactions.
Ensure timely and accurate completion of the department's activities.
Monitor and analyze key performance indicators and communicate results to management.
Ensure timely and correct running of the activities for the process.
Ensure continuous improvement in customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.
Assign various operational tasks and projects to team members, aiming for a balanced workload across the team while considering individual team members' experience and interest.
Cooperate with Business Process Manager and Consultants to ensure updated policies and new process implementation when needed.
Resolve escalations from Operational business partners and from Finance Functions.
Ensure team's cooperation with External auditors to provide all required documentation on time with high quality.
Ensure adequate resource allocation, staff teams according to skills and knowledge required, and lead strategic workforce planning and succession planning.
Operations Effectiveness and Efficiency Timely and accurate completion of daily/weekly/monthly activities.
Customer Focus Excellence of Service Delivery Model; timely and accurate completion of accounting requests.
Internal Controls Timely and accurate completion and sign-off of daily/weekly/monthly Internal Control activities in the APAY.
Qualifications: University degree in Accounting or Finance.
Knowledge of AP and TER internal controls: full understanding of KCA's related to AP Operations and its proper documentation.
People Management: Develop employees and promote a "Building Winning Team" atmosphere.
English Proficiency is required. Speaking/writing skills in multiple languages such as Italian, Spanish, French, or German is preferred.
SAP system knowledge is preferred.
Microsoft Office knowledge: Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Leadership experience is desired.
