Accounts Payable Specialist

Our growing company is hiring for an Accounts Payable Specialist. ResponsibilitiesProcessing invoices: Receiving and processing invoices from suppliers and other cost sources.Reconciling accounts: Reconciling account transactions with the general ledger.Managing expenses: Monitoring expenses and keeping a record for tax purposes.Preparing financial reports: Preparing monthly expense statements and financial reports.Maintaining vendor relationships: Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors.Resolving discrepancies: Resolving purchase order, invoice, or payment discrepancies.Responding to inquiries: Responding to queries from suppliers, customers, and staff.Staying current: Keeping informed of regulatory requirements and best practices in accounting. QualificationsA diploma in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.More than two years of experience in accounts payable.Proficiency in Microsoft software, such as Word and Excel.Strong analytical, management, communication, and time management skills.A high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong customer service skills and excellent negotiation skills.Proficient in business English.Ability to build knowledge of assigned disciplines in the organization.Project management skills a strong plus.Exposure to accounting tools a strong plus.Demonstrates advanced understanding of financial accounting, reporting, planning, controlling, assurance, internal control, treasury or investment a strong plus.Bachelor's degree in accounting/business and 3+ years of relevant experience.
